2. Website Information
The information on this website is provided for general information only. We take reasonable care to keep it accurate, but services, pricing, availability and technical information may change without notice.
Information provided online or before inspecting a vehicle is not a final diagnosis. An accurate assessment may require physical inspection, testing or diagnostic work.
3. Bookings and Enquiries
Submitting a website form, email or message does not automatically confirm an appointment. A booking is confirmed only when accepted and confirmed by Ace Automotive Services.
You are responsible for providing accurate contact and vehicle information. Please tell us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an appointment.
4. Quotes, Estimates and Pricing
Quotes and estimates are based on the information and vehicle condition known when they are prepared. Some faults may not become apparent until the vehicle has been inspected, diagnosed or dismantled.
An estimate is an approximate price and is not a fixed quote unless we expressly confirm otherwise in writing.
If additional repairs, labour or parts are required, we will contact you for approval before carrying out work outside the agreed scope.
All prices are in Australian> All prices are in dollars. Applicable charges and taxes will be shown on the relevant quote, job card or invoice.
5. Authorisation of Work
By authorising work, you confirm that you own the vehicle or have authority from its owner to approve the work and associated charges.
Authorisation may include:
- Vehicle inspections and diagnostic work.
- Services and repairs described in the quote or job card.
- Parts required to complete the approved work.
- Additional work within a spending limit approved by you.
- Reasonable road testing for diagnosis and quality control.
Diagnostic or inspection time may be chargeable even if you decide not to proceed with the recommended repair, provided the charge was disclosed or agreed before the work was performed.
6. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate details about the vehicle and its symptoms.
- Disclose known faults, modifications and previous repair attempts.
- Remove valuables and personal belongings from the vehicle.
- Provide keys or security codes reasonably required for the work.
- Respond within a reasonable time when approval is requested.
- Collect the vehicle when notified that it is ready.
7. Parts and Third-Party Products
Parts may be genuine, aftermarket, new, reconditioned or remanufactured, as described or agreed with you. Availability and supplier lead times may affect pricing and completion dates.
Manufacturer or supplier warranties may apply to certain parts. These warranties are additional to any rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.
We may decline to install a customer-supplied part if we reasonably consider it unsuitable, unsafe or incompatible. We remain responsible for the quality of the installation services we provide.
8. Payment and Vehicle Collection
Payment is due in accordance with the accepted quote, job card or invoice. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due when the work is completed and before the vehicle is collected.
If you dispute an amount, please contact us promptly. Both parties should make a genuine attempt to resolve the matter using the quote, authorisations, job card, invoice and relevant communications.
Any storage charge for a vehicle that is not collected will apply only if it has been disclosed and agreed or is otherwise permitted by law.
9. Completion Times and Delays
Completion dates may be estimates when work depends on diagnosis, parts availability, suppliers or circumstances that cannot be confirmed in advance.
We will use reasonable care to complete services within the agreed period or, where no period is agreed, within a reasonable time. We will keep you informed if a material delay occurs.
10. Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that may not be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Services must be provided with due care and skill, be fit for an agreed purpose where applicable, and be completed within a reasonable time when no completion time has been fixed.
If goods or services fail to comply with an applicable consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, cancellation or compensation, depending on the circumstances.
11. Liability
